THE SISTASYSTEM LEGACY
SistaSystem was developed by Weirdsistas Nazy & Bonn following decades of experience within the Australian dreadlock industry.
Their training grew into one of Australia's original online dreadlock education pathways, teaching a natural approach to creating and maintaining dreadlocks without waxes, chemicals or interlocking.
When Nazy & Bonn retired from the dreadlock industry in 2023, the SistaSystem training was entrusted to Sharna of Valhalla Hair to continue hosting their courses and carrying their educational legacy forward through DreadSchool.

A 4-unit introductory course for beginners wanting to explore the foundations of SistaSystem dreadlock creation before deciding whether professional training is right for them.
PRO LOKKTICIAN - $299 - 399
The complete 13-unit professional training pathway, covering dreadlock creation, maintenance, repairs, sectioning, extensions, scalp and hair knowledge, client consultation and the foundations of working professionally.

SHARNA - VALHALLA HAIR & DREADSCHOOL
My own SistaSystem journey began as a student.
After years of working independently with dreadlocks, I enrolled in the Weirdsistas Pro Lokktician Course in 2022 to expand my knowledge and explore another approach to the craft before launched my professional loctician business.
I went on to graduate as a Pro Lokktician and become a certified SistaSystem Trainer, which led to me opening VALHALLA HAIR.
When Nazy and Bonn stepped away from the dreadlock industry, I was given the opportunity to continue hosting the training that had helped shape so many locticians before me,
with the main goal of allowing all of these passionate practicing locticians to maintain their Certification.
DreadSchool was birthed from this dream of maintaining connections and promoting a professional standard within the wider dreadlock community.
Today, my role through Dreadschool is to preserve access to the original SistaSystem education, support its students through their training, and recognise the locticians who complete the professional pathway.
The craft continues to evolve and so does Dreadschool - but this space remains home to the SistaSystem legacy and the students continuing to learn it.
