ONLINE DREADLOCK COURSES

Dreadschool offers self-paced, online training programs designed to teach both the technical and professional aspects of dreadlock work.

  • Pro Lokktician Course ($399)
    A comprehensive 13-unit online course pre-recorded by the WeirdSistas covering:

    • Dreadlock installation methods

    • Base maintenance and repair

    A Tool Kit is included & Certification is awarded upon successful completion.

  • Trainee Course (FREE!)

My name is Sharna, and I am the founder and flamekeeper of DREADSCHOOL and my sacred craft, VALHALLA HAIR.

I have walked the dreadlock path for over 13 turns of the sun, weaving locks and lore alike - but it wasn’t until 2023 that I enrolled in the Weirdsistas Pro Lokktician Course. What I discovered was far more than technique… I found a coven of kin, a community of witches, warriors, weirdos and weavers who lifted each other higher with each twist and knot.

Through this journey, I rose as a Lokktician at VALHALLA HAIR and certified Trainer, guiding fellow seekers through their dreaducation with sacred 1-on-1 mentorship, embodying both student and steward of the craft.

When the founders of Sistasystem Dreadlock Academy, Weirdsistas Nazy & Bonn, laid down their tools in 2024, I was honored to be chosen as the new guardian of their legacy. Their academy rooted in magick since 2008 now lives on through me, through DREADSCHOOL, reborn in runes and fire.

My vision is vast: to build DREADSCHOOL into a cauldron of knowledge, inspiration, and community for all dreadheads, dreadwitches, and lock-loving souls across the realms.
This is a haven for tips, tricks, sacred methods, and soul-deep support.
